Forest Family News 2005

∙ Hopefully this Holiday will be a little less eventful than last year. Steven started the year recovering from Gall Bladder Surgery. No one wants to have surgery, but once he recovered he felt so much better.

∙ In the Spring Tori was certified as a Music Together teacher, a music program for infants and toddlers. She started teaching classes in the Summer.

∙ A new doggy joined our family, a Chocolate Lab named Maddy. She will be 2 years old in January.

∙ Steven’s offices are doing really well and he is looking for another Chiropractor to start working for him.

∙ Esther is now 3 years old and started Preschool in September. She attends two days a week for a few hours.

∙ We’ve enjoyed our landscaped back yard a great deal! This was actually done in 2004 but it has made such a big difference in our home!

~Dear Maddy~

Maddy is the Holiday News Advice columnist. She is a good natured young dog who loves helping others.
Dear Maddy,
My family just adopted me. Can you give me tips on fitting in?
Spot - Hayward, CA

Dear Spot: The first thing you should remember is your new family is as nervous and excited about you, as you are about them. One thing that may happen is your new family will take you to training. If you’re trained, don’t let on just how much. This not only gives you a little reprieve but gives your family pride in what they “taught” you. Another thing that helps me is I bring whatever I can to my family members when they come near me. I’ve even been known to retrieve dust bunnies for my family.

Bentley and Sparky Retire!

After a long tenure with as two of Santa’s most outstanding employees, Sparky and Bentley retire. Santa complimented them and stated they were two of the most interesting if not hardworking employees he’s ever had. At the ripe ol’ age of about 10, the boys wanted to spend more time with family, helping their newest family member Maddy adjust and just enjoying life.

Esther Goes Country!

A lot has happened for our little Esther this year. She celebrated her 3rd Birthday in July, started preschool in September and assists her Mom Tori in learning and practicing Music Together songs. Such Music Together Favorites as "Trot Ol’ Joe" and "See The Pony Galloping" apparently have had a big influence on Esther. She was recently heard using phrases such as "Y’all" and "Howdy Padna". Hopefully Esther won’t ask for a pony for Christmas
